History of Saudi Arabia

Although the region has an ancient history where country stands now, emergence of Saudi dynasty began from central Arabia in early 1744. Muhammad ibn Saud was ruler of town Ad Diriyyah near Riyadh at that time, he joined forces with cleric Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab to create new political entity. In 18 th century this joined alliance formed the basis of Saudi Arabia , which is a dynastic rule today. In year 1902, just age of 22, Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud has re-captured Rihad, as Al-Saud dynasty's capital from rival Al Rashid family. Treaty of Jeddah had signed in 1927 and United Kingdom has recognized independence of Abdul Aziz's realm, after that in know as Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz . Military of Abdul Aziz and his political success did not mirror economically until the Oil vast reserves were discovered in 1938. Saud then succeed to throne on Father's death, however, in early 1960s Kingdom was in the jeopardy because of economic mismanagement of Saud's as well as failure of consequence deal. Saud then deposed in the favor of Faisal in year 1964.
